I have to be honest with you - this is a design my daughter Luna has been begging me for over the past 9 months since we had a mermaid themed birthday party for her. So as I sat here creating this design, I'd ask her what she thought. "More purple, dad!", she'd say. But the cutest thing about her love for mermaids was not just her design input, it was the why behind it all: Because they're magical.

As a girl dad, I can totally appreciate that - in fact the back of the card conveys that sentiment even better: Swim free, my dear, and make your own magic.

My hope for anyone wearing this beautiful little hug for your wrist is that it helps you remember that magic is real, you just have to believe.
